Can E38S6G5 be used instead of C38S6G5?

I can find the model E38S6G5-600B-G24N for sale, but not the recommended 'C' model and was wondering if it can be used instead. Thanks

I think so. I actually used an LPD3806-600BM-G5-24C, and it works great.

I think you can swap in any encoder with:

• incremental a/b
• 600p/r
• 5v compatible

as for shaft, just get whatever matches your knob, but the 6mm is common
