Send email using SMTP

It would be useful to be able to setup phpBMS to send email via a remote SMTP server. Haven't investigated what this would entail but it's an interesting idea all the same. SugarCRM may provide a reference for this.

SugarCRM uses phpmailer. This is essential for those who would like to run phpBMS on a server that isn't also an internet-connected mail server.
