Tabs in config fatal crash

Not really a big issue but just as the title says adding a \t (tab char) to the config breaks it. would be nice to discard ALL white-space so that configuration files can be neater to server admins Low-Priority crash. mainly just a suggestion. if you'd like the crash report id be willing to post that for you
