[Bug]: Missing capital letters with wtype

Open joaberg opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Current Behavior

Some capital letters are not written to the terminal with wtype.

I use wtype via a hotkey to enter some repetitive commands that are used very often. This works fine in other terminals.

echo "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" | wtype - BCDEFGHIJKLMPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

If it starts with a space, the A is printed echo " ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" | wtype - ABCDEFGHIJKLOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

If it starts with many A's, they all disappear. echo "AAAAAABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" | wtype - BCDEFGHIJKLMPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

Expected Behavior

echo "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" | wtype - ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

Steps To Reproduce

echo "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" | wtype -
