It would be good to get some more information about this...

  1. Which version of Wavebox are you using?
  2. Which website generated the notification (e.g. Instagram)
  3. Was the app awake/sleeping in Wavebox?
  4. How long was it between the notification appearing in the Windows 10 notification area and you clicking on it (.e.g clicked right away/clicked within 5 minutes/clicked after this)

This happened with Instagram and the app was not sleeping. I clicked on the notification right away.

Wavebox: 10.120.25.2 stable Install Method: installer Wire Config: 1.2.17 Chromium: 120.0.6099.234 OS: win32/undefined
