Ctrl + Tab does not show recently used tabs (as v4 did)
- Wavebox Version: [e.g. 3.0.0] 10.0.56-3 beta
- Operating System & Version: [e.g. Windows 10, Mac OSX 10.3.4, Ubuntu 17.10] Windows 10
- (Linux only) Install method: [e.g. Debian installer, Snap Package, Tar, Apt-Repo, etc...]
- Account type (if applicable): [e.g. Gmail, Office 365, Trello, etc...] N/A
Expected & actual behavior When I press Control + Tab I expect to see the recently used tabs, just as it did in version 4. Instead I am taken from through the open (ie. non-sleeping) tabs in the account.
Steps to reproduce Press Control + Tab
Is the bug persistent or intermittent? Always
Additional information As this was working in version 4, I assume it's a bug in it being missing in version 10.
I have looked ta the settings and cannot find anything that would switch this behaviour on. That's not to say it's not there.
At the moment Ctrl+Tab switches to the last recently used tab, in a similar way to how the web browser does.
The behaviour is slightly different in wb10 in that the tab list in maintained differently. Is it just the user interface you're missing or the change in behaviour?

That's not my experience. Without exposing my info the internet it's difficult to provide a GIF.
If I have a group with 4 tabs, and I am on tab 2 and press Ctrl + Tab it goes to tab 3, then 4 in that group (and if I have other groups it then goes through the tabs in the second group, then the third etc. - once it goes through all the tabs in the last group it stops). Note that when I say tabs, I mean non-sleeping ones.
What I would like to happen is if I am on tab 2, and the last tab I accessed was tab 1, then Ctrl + Tab goes to tab 1. It also brings up a little window (just like Alt + Tab in Windows) in the order they were last accessed. This is the behaviour in Wavebox 4 - so I'm simply looking for the same here.
Does that make sense?
i liked how control + tab worked in v4 also, where it would go to the previous tab rather than cycle through all my tabes
We have this sitting for 3 months with no assignee and no tags? I get people are busy and if this was an open source project I'd also get that people have lives. But this is subscription based software so my level of expectations is above what I'd expect from a free / open source project.
And to be clear I'm not expecting this to be implemented yet. But I am expecting there to be an acknowledgement of this issue.
@pauby it's definitely on the roadmap. We're settling down with keeping up to date with Chromium, since we believe this is one of the most important things from a security, feature & compatibility point of view. From here-on, we're working through our feature implementation roadmap which includes improvements to ctrl+tab
@Thomas101 Can I suggest you add a label that lets us know this - 'On Roadmap' / 'Feature' / 'Enhancement' / 'Backlog'. At the moment this issue has no labels and no assignees and looks like it's being ignored and getting no love.
Sharing the roadmap would also be good for those of us who miss a lot of the features from v4.
Version 10, to me, is a backward step in terms of functionality. And at the end of the day that is my number 1 priority. It's great you're keeping ahead of Chromium and security fixes as they are very important for a browser based app. Remember though that from a customers point of view there are no progress / changes to see in those (security is a hidden thing to most people).
