Describe the bug

Installed Warp on a new setup M1 Max Macbook Pro running Sonoma 14.3.1 Upon launch, it shows Starting zsh... and stuck there,

  • Changing shell to bash in settings won't work
  • Manually point shell path to /bin/zsh or /bin/bash won't work
  • ZDOTDIR=/ in a ~/.zshenv won't work
  • Manual uninstall/reinstall won't work

Tried to download v0.2023.01.17.08.03.stable_01 from github and after install, it WORKS somehow, after auto upgrade, it stopped working again

Iterm2 and built-in terminal app works fine with zsh

To reproduce

Does this block you from using Warp daily?

Yes, this issue prevents me from using Warp daily.

Is this a Warp specific issue? (i.e. does it happen in Terminal, iTerm, Kitty, etc.)

Yes, this I confirmed this only happens in Warp, not other terminals.
