instability with lots of tags
I have openhaystack running but have tried to scale it to 300 devices and it seems not to work well.
do you have any experience with larger deployments.
This application can be refactored to decrypt only the last location of each tag (like headless-haystack). The problem would be the query of 300 keys at once to the server, which will depend on how Apple handles this type of query (i.e. they certainly won't send 2000x300 reports on every request).
...what I'm really curious about is why do you have 300 devices?
Because of the sensitiveness of the matter (stalking is a real problem) and to keep the trust and transparency within the community, I kindly ask that we keep the discussion here.
They are used as part of a poc for secondary tracker for asset management in case primary iot goes offline.
