Describe your issue:

Hi,

I experienced an issue when the folder contains an apostrophe at the end of the folder name, then it just shows an error message instead of opening the folder in a new tab.

Steps to reproduce

Prerequisite: Window Hook enabled.

  1. Create a folder with apostrophe U+0027 at the end, for example this: abc' Image

  2. Create a shortcut (.lnk) to that folder. Image

  3. Open any other explorer window different from this folder. Explorer needs to be open with at least one window.

  4. Open the shortcut to the folder abc'

Actual behavior

It shows the following error message Image (in German, translates to "... could not be found. Make sure the path is correct")

Expected behavior

The folder abc' opens in a new tab.
