The logic I am thinking of is this: 1. The configuration for the object gets removed, it is no longer active. 2. The object still exists in the `icinga2.state` file...
 Doing a quick test, it does not look like it did close it correctly. I added to both objects a downtime of a few minutes and deleted the object...
