[Bug] The void settings tab resets the position

Open hardWorker254 opened this issue 8 months ago • 2 comments

When I scroll through the "void settings" tab and then go to another tab and then go back to "void settings" it returns the position to the top, but the vs code settings do not do that. It sometimes pisses you off when you turn FIM on, and then you want to turn it off, and you have to scroll through the tab again.

thanks for the feedback! very timely actually because we’ve been refactoring the settings UI based on input from the Void community (see PR #654 for example). The new layout uses a sidebar with tabs that remember your place - so if you’re on the "Feature Options" tab (where FIM is planned to be), switching away and back will keep you right there. That said, if you run into anything else or have ideas for improving the flow, feel free to drop a comment..

@vrtnis When is the new binary release coming out? I'm looking forward to the new update. Also, thanks for your hard work and the existence of void!
