helmchart can't be installed on the latest versions of k8s

What is the feature request? What problem does it solve? Our helmchart depends on a very old version of cockroachDB. We need to be able to install our helmchart on newer version of k8s without any issues. A potential solution to this is just to disable cockroachdb and use the portgres helm chart. But in this case we need to test it and make sure it works.
