QGeoTileFetcherGooglemaps terms of use

Hi, I was wondering if the QGeoTileFetcherGooglemaps object will be still legal after Google will update its terms of use of Google Maps API on June the 11th 2018. Will it require an apikey to work?

The tiles API not official anyway, so i dont see any difference
