Adding scale bar to spatial view image

Hi, I'm trying to show an image (pyramidal ome-tiff) in the spatial view. How I can show the scale bar as well? From other issues, it seems like the image file needs to have this metadata embedded? If so, is there a way to add this metadata later when creating the Vitessce config in case the original image file doesn't have this metadata embedded?
