Request: Suckless style configuration and patching

It would be great to expose a config.h header or something of the sort to allow for customizing colors and keybindings and the such instead of directly modifying the c files. More controversial features can then be submitted as patches in pull requests instead of merged directly into the project, like how herbe does it. Is there any chance that this can be added?
