nl.IFLA_IPTUN_PROTO not supported by netlink.Sittun attributes?

I am looking for a way to setup a "IPv4 and IPv6" over IPv4 tunnel (with a SIT linux tunnel), but I am unable to find a way to set the tunnel "mode" for SIT-tunnels. Could it be that this flag is missing from the current code?
