Cut/Paste using keyboard commands or edit menu not working under MacOS
Explore app does not respond to command+v to copy clipboard contents into the domain address bar using Macos client.
I believe when I tried, this would happen to any field in the Interface on OSX.
Ah, you are correct, looks like command+v does not work with any text entry field (tried search bar, chat, etc.).
Updated issue title to more accurately describe the problem with MacOS app.
Here are more observations:
- Command+C and Command+V using keyboard does not cut/paste
- Choosing the Edit option from the menu bar and choosing cut or paste does not cut/paste
- Selecting text within apps (like chat) with mouse and right-mouse-click and choosing copy DOES copy to clipboard
- Right-mouse-click and choosing paste DOES copy text from clipboard in chat text entry
- Explore app address bar (or search bar) does not allow right-mouse-click in the text entry to bring up clipboard menu
Does Ctrl + V work? Not sure what a macOS keyboard from your country looks like, but on my keyboard macOS uses Alt instead of Ctrl. Presumably the Interface uses Ctrl since that is standard on pretty much all system other than macOS.
Ctrl + V does not work. I now tried in the vircadia browser, and command+V does work, as does command+x to cut. Although, clicking on the vircadia browser address bar and then choosing the file menu Edit->Paste does not work, neither does cut.
Given the address bar in the vircadia browser works, as well as the "old goto" address bar, but not the explore address bar, to me this seems like a QML app implementation bug or issue.
