What is this Python project?
In the section 'Environment management' I have added the pipenv tool. I consider it one of the best there is.
What's the difference between this Python project and similar ones ?
Pipenv is a packaging tool for Python that solves some common problems associated with the typical workflow using pip , virtualenv , and the good old requirements. txt . In addition to addressing some common issues, it consolidates and simplifies the development process to a single command line tool.

Agree, maybe it's still out there, but people should forget about its existence.
I have to echo the comment about it having a place. I have worked with it for a long time and have helped numerous non-programmer or not experienced programmers work with it. It does its job well.
If this is not good, please someone point me to a better solution ... this does what is advertised.

You should try poetry.
+1 for adding it. We use it in 100+ projects. It has bugs but it does its job.
