GVim: blurry text on hidpi display

Steps to reproduce

Set scaling factor to 2x on a hidpi display (in my case 14.5", 2560x1600)

Expected behaviour

GVim text is blurry, or if anti-aliasing is turned off in gnome-tweaks, it's pixelated.
