Home page dates confusing

The calendar layout is setup for a pre-Christmas advent season. The articles being published on a different schedule than shown is really confusing. The irrelevant dates should be dropped and the calendar should just show the dates that have or are expected to have articles.

This is a quickfix. I'll try to come up with a better template-level solution later.
