I've solved the problem. I think there had been a conflict between the github download I'd done before and the f-droid download I'd done recently.

This is probably due to the background service I have added in the latest beta. Main cause is my awful implementation of saving and loading data which doesn't support saving concurrently from multiple threads. I will fix that in the next beta.
