Crash when taskbar is set to mask automatically

I'm not quite sure whether this is a bug or a feature request so here goes:

When using TaskbarDock, everything works fine unless I try to activate the option to mask the taskbar automatically (the windows setting)

When I try to use that setting, the app crashes and I get this error message, twice

I don't know if this comes from a limitation inherent to how you interact with the taskbar but would there be a way to be able to auto hide the taskbar to regain the extra space when not needed, and only make it appear when we hover over ?
