FCR_bam does not end
I am using FRC_bam to evaluate the assembly of a Leishmania amazonensis strain, which size is approximately 32 MB. My bam file refers to a pair-end library with 350 bp insert length. I don't have mate-pair libraries. I started the execution of FRC_bam 4 days ago and so far it hasn't been finished. This is normal? What is the average execution time? Would you also like to know which CE_stats values are best suited for this case?
Command line:
./FRC —pe-sam illumina_reads_sorted.bam —genome-size 32000000 —output output_Illumina_reads —pe-max 350
Hello and thanks for using FRCbam. Unfortunately I am not able to give you much support. FRC_bam has been one of the most interesting projects I worked during my PhD and PostDoct but it is now three years I have moved out from the academic path and therefore I have no longer the time to support other researchers working with the tools I used to develop.
All the best FV
