bot-protection-botd example no longer working

Accessing this URL https://edge-functions-bot-protection-botd.vercel.app/blocked should navigate to bot-detected page due to bot being detected, but it doesn't navigate. I tried to use the example in my application and I found out that the botd endpoint (botd.fpapi.io) is no longer working. [Error: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND botd.fpapi.io]
