Copy not working due to missing owner ID in matrix block

Describe the bug

We have a issue with a specific Matrix field of which a block will not copy. The error coming in is: "Matrix block is missing its owner ID"

It does work on other matrix block on a another matrix field. So i think it's somewhere in the field configuration. These are the fields on the matrix block. Scherm­afbeelding-2023-11-17-om-14 30 03

Any idea on what might cause this error?

Steps to reproduce

  1. Install craft and smith
  2. recreate matrix block with fields as specified in image
  3. Try to clone matrix block on a entry

@engram-design Could you have a look at this issue. We tend to get stuck where this goes wrong. Do you have a idea?

It's not something I can replicate, sorry - and I've tried tens of different Matrix field setups. Any chance you could send through your database? If so, send through to [email protected] with some instructions on where to find the problematic block.
