keyboard input is not as expected at bootloader screen
Expected behavior
The password prompt shows, and a user enters keys on the keyboard which show up accordingly as stars, or if the user presses F5, as the actual text.
Observed behavior
Of the numbers pressed, only the number 2 shows up. 6, -, q, w, e. r. t. y, u, o, p (not i) show up as a shaded block [ = <ENTER>
Steps to reproduce
Not sure how to reproduce it. I had put my computer into hibernation mode, I think, and then when I went to start it up again, somehow there was just a black screen. I had enabled user-enabled-crash so I pressed Fn-right Ctrl-scrl lock twice and it initiated a crash. I'm not sure if it actually showed the blue crash screen. There is a Veracrypt forum issue where this is mentioned, with exactly the same erroneous characters being displayed as in this issue.
