deleted files and xdg-desktop-portal-gtk : unable to unmount

Open maugch opened this issue 2 months ago • 0 comments

When I open a veracrypt volume on Ubuntu (any version) and delete a file, I can't unmount the partition anymore.

I've created this ticket because a similar issue has been opened on xdg-desktop-portal-gtk's github and has been closed as an "extternal" issue (flatpak). https://github.com/flatpak/xdg-desktop-portal/issues/689 https://github.com/Rafostar/clapper/issues/205 I am not sure if I have to open this here or there is another git for the package manager, if the problem is even there.

Expected behavior

I expect to be able to unmount it.

Observed behavior

I can't unmount the partition, deleted files are locked by xdg-desktop-portal-gtk

Steps to reproduce

  1. On a GTK Linux (Ubuntu) open a veracrypt volume and delete a file/directory
  2. Empty the trash (optional)
  3. Try to unmount the volume

Your Environment

Ubuntu from 18 onward
