I did some testing with VeraCrypt version 1.26.7 on a Windows 7 system and had problems booting the system afterwards, which would hang and go into a reboot loop. It appears that the veracrypt.sys driver is causing these problems. Only after a system restore and deleting veracrypt.sys the system status could be restored. Therefore, please write this explicitly in your release notes to be very careful with older operating systems, as these could also be damaged if not repaired carefully and with the necessary know-how.
