Psyco dependency is outdated, can't be found

+1 I'm using a mac and can't find any Psyco release built for it. There's a source, but it's too old and seems like it's primarily made for windows, so I don't think it'd be worth to spend time on cross compiling.

Without this library, I was still able to control the drone so that was cool. But of course the camera stream didn't work, so that's a problem for any sophisticated autonomy application.

The psyco webpage says: "Psyco is unmaintained and dead. Please look at PyPy for the state-of-the-art in JIT compilers for Python". I'm wondering if it is trivial to replace psyco with pypy.

I found a fork of this project that works great. Find it below. It's a more organized and optimized version of this original project, the video works without Psyco package and with a fairly good framerate. Thanks to @venthur and @alarconj for making this cool library, saved a lot of my integration time!
