stops working when "ö" is pressed

When ö is pressed (german layout) the layout switches once (unexpected) and doesn't switch back. The layout switch key (caps lock in my case) is without function. Restarting lswitch with the same shortcut helps until next ö. Other German letters with diacritics äüß work fine, Russian ж (that is at the same key as the German ö) works fine as well. Capslock - lswitch.exe 20 Windows 10 Pro, DEU and RUS keyboard layouts.

Do you have an idea why pressing a certain letter could crash lswitch? Maybe I'll ask for help on Fiverr and any pointers would be helpful. BTW there are free Win VMs if you ever wanted to check out Win again ;-)
