The led light on the lid was designed to stay on all the time. Im wondering if we set it monitor R and W operations, could it have an issue in the long run hardware terms? Like the led wasnt designed to constantly blink quickly?

also, i experienced after a few minutes of my computer working fine after using the led control, the trackpoint stopped working. restarting the computer fixes it
