Thanks for the changes. I'll sure consider the changes you have proposed. Since there was a recent release for the plugin, I'll review and consider all pull request at once and publish that release at a later time.

Meantime, I would suggest using the forked version with your changes.

Closing this, as it didn't fully resolve the issue of converting to wp gutenberg blocks, which we needed.
