Feature Request: Show firmware versions in list(s)

Open MikePfaff opened this issue 9 months ago • 1 comments

It would be nice if one could see the current firmware versions (of multiple devices!) either a) in the main screen as a separate column (either in the "+" or "-" view mode) or b) at least in the "Devices configuration checklist" view.

Reasoning: With Shelly/Allterco doing phased roll-outs of new firmware versions (= not all devices will always run the latest firmware version immediately after release), it would be beneficial for device management to easily get an overview of which device is running which exact firmware version.

You will find something very similar in "Device Configuration", where you also have the option to effectively update the firmware. Select all Wi-Fi devices (you can do this using the selector in the lower right corner) (note: BLU TRV is also managed), click on the "Tools" button and the first tab will show you the devices, the current firmware and, possibly, the available stable or beta updates. In version 1.2.4 (currently in beta) you can also filter by device and firmware version.

From version 1.2.7 (under development now) the columns on the firmware update table will be sortable

I think that the changes introduced with version 1.3.0 meet the needs outlined
