Describe the solution you'd like Add ability to add gene metadata to the data (based on common identifiers). This could be either after a project is made (analogous to "add metadata") and/or when first making the project. (This feature existed before, and was removed quite a while ago)

It is really useful because frequently the data supplied has no or incomplete information about each gene. that info is key to a biologist using MOG
