Add a logo for the python package?

I saw that you are included the urlstechie logo but I think it is better to using something unique for the lib. After playing with some stuff today I came up with this, what do you think of it? urlchecker-python

it is a link logo as two snakes with the colors of python xD

This is seriously adorable! And just going to paste this here to see how they look together:

If the yellows and orange match to the T, I think the branding is close enough :)

I am not sure that I get your point? can you maybe explain more?

Sure! So if you right click anywhere on your screen you can inspect an element, and then use the dropper in the css style (for any class/id) to get the exact color of the yellow. For the urlstechie logo, the yellow is: #f2da34 however the link yellow is #ffd43b. In terms of the orange, the orange in the urltechie is #ed5a44 and the snake eyes is #f15a5b so they are different colors. To make sure that branding is strong, we should use the same color space between the two! So - pick the one that is easiest to edit (or you like best) and then choose one of the hex values for each of the orange and yellow (since blue isn't shared we can keep whatever is used for the python, and white is, well, white :)) Does that make sense? In summary:

  • yellow: choose #f2da34 or #ffd43b for both yellows in the images
  • orange: choose #ed5a44 or #f15a5b

I get it now, but i don't think this will be ready soon. I would rather postpone it. I am slow when doing design things. I also use mostly tools online or some weird linux tools so most of the time I am winging it. I get your point about the colors and I agree to it, but I am not sure how to do it to be honest. like I can change the yellow easily but not the tongue and eyes of the snakes :/

okay, that works for me. It sticks out to me, but I suppose if they aren't right next to each other it won't be blatantly obvious.
