Bitcoin wallet does not update with new balance or transaction

Describe the bug The bitcoin wallet does not show new transactions or the correct amount held by the wallet even after funds have been broadcast and included in a new block. The issue has been observed by me while using regtest and by others on mainnet.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Set up bitcoin wallet.
2. Copy address of wallet, send funds to that address and wait for that transaction to be included in a new block.
3. Wallet balance still shows 0 BTC, no new transactions.

Expected behaviour The wallet should show the correct amount of BTC and the new transaction.

System (please supply the following information, if relevant):

• First seen on Vere 1.8 and Arvo 419K

Additional context I've found after deleting the xpub and re-adding it to the wallet the UI will update and show the correct amount of BTC and link to the corresponding transaction, but otherwise the wallet does not update with the new transaction/balance.
