[REQUEST] ability to make custom layouts

one IDE maker that does, well, IDEs very good is jetbrains. aside from the nice features of code handling etc, the layouts, or should i say customisation of layouts is brilliant. you just simply right click, say that the current clicked window should be split either vertical or horizontal. you can make as many as you want.

THAT would be a great feature
