I did indeed send a very similar PR to 14 or so repos today (everyone featured on code hunts first day of going live). I was up to 4am manually sending these to each project. I agree tho, it looks a bit spammy, but my intentions aren't to be a douchbag spammer. I'm just a dev (@chrisjacob) trying his hands at a little marketing - and probably making a mess of it ;-)
No hard feelings if you reject this PR. just wanted to clear the air re:spam.
