Clear TaskScheduler.Current

ConfigureAwait(false) does two things:

  • it avoids posting to SynchronziationContext.Current
  • it avoids using TaskScheduler.Current

So to truly be a replacement for it, you must also re-schedule execution of the entire async method if TaskScheduler.Current != TaskScheduler.Default.
