FAQ: Why do my OOD My Interactive Session job cards disappear?

Job cards sometimes disappear from the "My Interactive Sessions" page on https://rc.uab.edu

Possible Causes

Affects All interactive jobs

  • Insufficient space in $USER_DATA to store necessary OOD job files.

Jupyter

  • Flag errors in Extra Jupyter Arguments
  • --notebook-dir does not exist or incorrect permissions

  • conda init error
  • hidden characters in the environment setup window
  • For all other errors: start another jobs, open Session ID link, once the job dies download the contents of the folder and attach them to the ticket
