Variable font export jumbles glyphs in RF4

Same designspace in RF3 and RF4.

Batch in RF3 makes the font with the correct glyphs:

Batch in RF4 generates a jumble:

Difference is that fonttools in RF3 is 4.8.1, RF4 is 4.25.0.

Something changed, looking into it.

It seems as though the TTFs that the variable font are built from is forcing a Latin-1 order on the glyph names, but the glyphs aren't switching, they stay in place, so your A gets the unicode and name for quotedbl etc. I don't think this is a fonttools thing, but I could be wrong.
