Please provide commit history prior to open-sourcing
There seems to be only one commit. Where are the rest? This will help to increase transparency.
Perhaps Git wasn't the version control software for much of the algorithm's life/development span.
@zubyCharles or a new repository was started from 0.
That's highly unlikely considering there's ~450k LOC in here.
They were using a google drive shared folder before this
Twitter devs are so hardcore that they only need to commit once.
Thanks for the feedback! We ultimately decided on a squash commit here for several reasons, one of which was to release the code as quickly as possible. Another is that some commits contained code that we are only planning on open-sourcing later. There were other additional factors involved in this decision. We will consider providing a history of commits in the long term.
We don't need historical commits. Transparency for the current code and future commits is great enough!

This is another business though, we decided instead to put trust in our developers and at the end of the day that's what matters the most.
