Breakout detection in conjunction with Anomaly Detection

Hello, I am using the AnomalyDetection package and was wondering if the changepoints detected by breakout can be used in any way to determine the long_term period parameter of Anomaly Detection. Any guidance is greatly appreciated, as I am a little lost here.
