error "Lisp nesting exceeeds 'max-lisp-eval-depth'"

I keep getting this error when i open a remote file using tramp. Running emacs on windows. Setup you lisp file then provided it in my init. If i extend the lisp eval depth it quickly leads to crashes of emacs because stack is being overfilled.

Any idea what this could be? Any help appreaciated
