No output when crawling a simple static page

Firstly, thanks for gather! I'm very excited about a good Markdown "gatherer"!

I wanted to get the Markdown equivalent from the simple static content of http://www.enhydralutris.de/Fahrrad/HPV-Bilder/OlafSchultz/Flevo_1/. So I tried

gather http://www.enhydralutris.de/Fahrrad/HPV-Bilder/OlafSchultz/Flevo_1/ > doc.md

but afterwards doc.md is empty!

PS: I'm now using the package installer and tried it on an M2 Mac Mini and an old Intel MacBook.
