Adding new filters starting from a copy of existing ones in the UI

When wishing to add slightly modified versions of patterns of existing filters as new filters, one has to copy/paste manually the patterns when adding a new filter. Since there's also no avenue to edit filters through an external editor directly from the application, a way to create a new filter by duplicating a selected one in the UI, where one duplicates the pattern and then modifies it in the edit line before saving it/enabling it would be more user-friendly and involve less manual steps as copying/pasting and the likes.

Adding a Copy action to the filter editor sounds like a reasonable thing to do.
