How to know ID of each image map

Open gabrielasil opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

I'm trying to combine the use of image map with command blocks to create a puzzle on minecraft, and to achieve that I need to know the id of each map (if they have different ids of course, if not I'll have to find another way of doing that). Is that possible? It has to be on Minecraft Bedrock/PC Edition so the advanced tooltips command (F3 + H if I remember right) doesn't work. Thanks in advance for any help!

Sorry, the map UUIDs aren't visible in-game in Bedrock.

You also can't "/give" yourself maps with custom IDs, but you can save a dropped map item inside a structure (make sure it's small, like 1 block) with a structure block then use "/structure load" at the player position to give them that custom map. I don't know what I would without this.

also the map IDs are the same as the ones shown in image map.
