Proposal
I want to have the possibility to customize more the modus navbar by adding custom HTML buttons to the modus navbar using the 'slot' attribute similar to how it is used for the main menu, profile menu and notifications.
Motivation and context
In the current implementation of out application we have buttons that when clicked open a menu and buttons that display a counter similar to the one that is already implemented for the notifications and I want to have the possibility to add this features to any button in the navbar and to farther customize it if necessary

Hello @HoriaSenduc! Thanks for opening an issue. The Modus core team will get back to you soon (usually within 24-hours) and provide guidance on how to proceed. Contributors are welcome to participate in the discussion and provide their input on how to best solve the issue, and even submit a PR if they want to.
Please wait until the issue is ready to be worked on before submitting a PR, or you can reach out to the core team if it is time bound. For trivial things, or bugs that don't change the expected behaviors and UI, you can go ahead and make a PR.
I believe the behavior you are asking for already exists and is a bug. Can you please check https://github.com/trimble-oss/modus-web-components/issues/3249?
