Fidget status?

Is Fidget still developed? It seems like the development and issue fixing has stopped. I'm asking because I am thinking of starting to make a quite serious project and want to know if it is sensible to make Fidget the GUI base for it.

The author is working on separate modules for Fidget II. I don't think Fidget is being worked on right now at least actively.

Can we follow these Fidget II developments somewhere? I did a quick search but couldn't find anything.
