NPE when internet connection is too weak

When I have good internet connection app works very well. no crashes. But when thereis weak mobile/wi-fi internet connection, I get NPE. Can TypeAdapterFactory return null, if my pojo isn't initialized? How can I initial it?

when I compile the code it throws exception as follows:
